Technology in eye care has advanced such that we are able to predict many problems before they are ever noticed by you. However, because insurance doesn’t cover many of these tests for screening, and because the cost to the physician is higher than most are willing to cover when it’s not required, we know of no other place in Florida that offers these tests as a standard.

We think things should be better. When you visit us for your Hunter Vision Analysis you will see hi-resolution photos of the front of your eyes, the lenses inside your eyes, your retinas and optic nerves. You will also tour a Scheimpflug densitometry reading of your lenses, a 25,000 point elevation map of each cornea, and a 3-dimensional cross-sectional OCT scan of your macula.

Dr. Hunter will sit down with you for a one-on-one guided journey through these images of your eyes and an explanation of your refractive surgery options. He will also evaluate your eyes for any other subtleties that should be monitored or managed.
